What to Expect When You Call: A Crawl Space Inspection Walk-Through

Introduction

Walking Through The Inspection Process

HOW WE SET THE TONE FOR CRAWL SPACE WORK

When you're dealing with crawl space problems, the last thing you need is confusion about what happens next.

I'm Josh, and I've been handling crawl space inspections in Middle Tennessee for over 12 years.

Let me walk you through exactly what happens when you reach out to us - no surprises, no confusion, just straight talk about how we work.

I believe the inspection process sets the tone for everything that follows. That's why I handle every inspection personally.

No salespeople, no middlemen - just direct communication with the owner who'll be overseeing your project from start to finish.

First Contact

When you reach out to us, whether by phone, text, or email, you'll hear back from me directly - usually the same day. I know crawl space problems can be stressful, so I don't believe in making you wait around wondering when someone will get back to you.

During our first chat, I'll ask about:

  • What problems you're noticing
  • Which part of town you're in
  • How soon you need the work done
  • Whether you've gotten other quotes

These questions help me understand your situation better, so I can schedule your inspection at the right time and come prepared. I'm not trying to sell you anything during this call - I'm just gathering information so I can help you better when I come out to look at your crawl space.

Before The Inspection

Being on time isn't just about respect - it's about showing you that I take your problems seriously.

I actually aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early to every inspection.

When I'm on my way, I'll send you a screenshot from my GPS showing exactly when I'll get there.

No guessing, no waiting around wondering when I'll show up.

During the Inspection

When I get to your house, I'll knock on the door and introduce myself.

I always invite homeowners to join me during the inspection if they want to.

Some people like to see exactly what's happening under their house, while others prefer to skip the crawl space visit - either way is fine with me.

I'll take plenty of photos while I'm down there.

This isn't just for show - these photos help me explain exactly what's going on when we sit down to talk.

Plus, you'll have a clear record of what your crawl space looked like before we started any work.

The Solution Discussion

After the inspection, we'll sit down at your table and go through everything I found.

This is where my approach is different from most companies.

Instead of pushing one expensive solution, I'll show you multiple options for fixing your crawl space problems.

I believe in giving you choices that make sense for your situation.

Maybe you need full encapsulation, or maybe a simpler fix will do the job. We'll look at different materials and approaches, and I'll explain the pros and cons of each one.

The best part?

You get to decide what works for your budget.

I'll mark anything optional as "optional" - no tricks, no pressure to buy things you don't need.

We'll build a plan together that takes care of your problems without breaking the bank.

Our No-Pressure Promise

Look, I've been on the other side of this - working for companies that pushed salespeople to sell the most expensive option every time. That's not how I do business. When I tell you something's optional, I mean it.

When I say you need something, it's because you really need it.

I won't try to scare you into buying more than you need. Instead, I'll explain exactly what each option does and why you might want it. Then you decide what makes sense for your home and budget. Simple as that.

Next Steps

Once you decide on a plan that works for you, scheduling is straightforward.

We'll find a time that works for you, and unlike some companies, we won't ask for any deposit. You only pay when the job is done and you're happy with the work.

If you have questions before we start, just call or text me directly.

Remember, you're not dealing with a call center or a sales team - you're working with me, the owner, from start to finish. I'm here to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Crawl Logic

Ready to Get Started?

If you're dealing with crawl space issues, I'd love to take a look. The inspection is free, and there's absolutely no pressure to make a decision on the spot. Just call or text me, and we'll set up a time that works for you.

Unless it's a major holiday, I'll get back to you quickly - usually the same day. Let's figure out what's going on under your house and make a plan that works for you.

You know what's different about working with a family business? You're not just getting a service - you're working with real people who have real lives. Right now, I'm writing this from Lake Como, Italy, where we just finished taking wedding photos by the water. It's been an incredible experience, but I've got to tell

I'm writing this from a boat on Lake Como, Italy, experiencing what I can honestly say are the most incredible views I've ever seen in my life. The food's amazing, the company's perfect - it's everything a honeymoon should be. But here's something interesting: even from here, I'm thinking about Nashville's crawl spaces

I'm writing this from Piazza Navona in Rome, watching centuries-old fountains and buying a stuffed Italian Corgi for my daughter's birthday. Six years ago, I couldn't have imagined taking a real vacation - I was too busy crawling under Nashville homes by myself. But here's the thing about building a business the right
