Planning Ahead: Crawl Logic Prepares for Growth in 2026

Introduction

Taking Time to Plan What's Next

WHY DECEMBER'S SLOW SEASON MEANS BIG THINGS FOR 2026

Today was different. For the first time in months, I took a weekday off.

Spent the day with my wife, worked on our house, got some good food cooking in the oven.

Nothing fancy, just time to breathe and think about where we're headed.

December is always our slowest season.

It's cold, people aren't thinking about their crawl spaces, and honestly, that's okay.

Because slow seasons aren't about doing nothing - they're about planning for what's next.

And what's next for Crawl Logic is big.

We've got a new pest control contract starting by the end of the month.

We're hiring installers in Nashville and Chattanooga.

And 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest year yet.

But none of that happens without taking time to step back and plan it right.

Understanding Seasonal Business

If you work in home services, you know that December is tough. It's one of the coldest months, and crawl space work naturally slows down. People are focused on holidays, not home repairs. The phones ring less, the schedule opens up, and some business owners panic.

I don't panic anymore. After years in this business, I've learned that these slow periods are actually valuable. They give you time to think, to plan, to prepare for the busy season ahead. Instead of scrambling to keep up when spring hits, you can be ready.

That's why we're using this December to get everything lined up for next year. New services, new team members, new locations - all the groundwork happens now, during the quiet time. By the time homeowners start thinking about their crawl spaces again, we'll be ready to serve them better than ever.

What's Coming: Pest Control Expansion

By the end of this month, we're adding pest control services to what we offer. Now, this isn't just a random addition - it actually makes perfect sense for what we do. I spent five years in pest control before focusing full-time on crawl spaces, so this is bringing things full circle.

Here's why it matters: when you're dealing with crawl space issues, pest problems often come hand in hand. Moisture attracts termites.

Rodents find their way into unsealed spaces. We've been identifying these issues for years during inspections. Now we'll be able to handle them directly instead of sending customers somewhere else.

This new contract means we can offer complete crawl space solutions - encapsulation, structural repairs, and pest control all under one roof. One company, one standard of quality, one number to call.

Growing the Team

To make all this happen, we need good people. Right now, we're looking for installers in both Nashville and Chattanooga. These aren't just jobs to fill - we're looking for quality people who want to be part of something growing.

I'm not interested in hiring just anyone. The team we're building needs to understand that we're not like other companies. We do things right, we treat customers' homes with respect, and we stand behind our work. That takes the right kind of person.

If you've been looking for steady work with a company that's growing fast, this might be your opportunity. We're ramping up now so we're ready when the busy season hits.

What We Offer Our Team

Let's talk straight about what working at Crawl Logic looks like. Training pay is 200 dollars a day while you learn. After 60 days, you move to 5% commission on the work you do. Most of my crew makes over two grand a week, and that's working either five or seven days - your choice.

This isn't one of those jobs where you're stuck working someone else's schedule. You want to work seven days and make more money? Go for it. Need a five-day week for family time? That works too. We built this company on the idea that family matters, and that extends to how we treat our crew.

The work itself? It's physical, no question. But it's also skilled work that matters. You're helping families have safer, healthier homes. And you're doing it with a team that backs you up and a company that's growing fast enough to create real opportunities.

Why Work-Life Balance Matters

Taking today off wasn't lazy - it was necessary. After months of working straight through, you need time to recharge. Spending time with my wife, working on our own house, cooking a good meal - that's what keeps you grounded and ready to go when work picks back up.

This isn't just about me either. The same philosophy applies to our crew. We're not building a company where people burn out chasing commissions. We're building something sustainable where good people can make good money without sacrificing everything else.

That's why our guys can choose their schedule. That's why we don't push people to work seven days if five works better for their life. Quality work comes from people who have balance, not people running on empty.

Looking Toward 2026

Next year is going to be our biggest yet. We're expanding services with pest control. We're growing our team in multiple locations. We're building the infrastructure to serve more Tennessee families without losing the quality that got us here.

But all of this growth is intentional. We're not just getting bigger for the sake of it. We're expanding because families across Tennessee need reliable crawl space and pest control services. They need companies they can trust to do the work right, not just sell them something.

That's what 2026 is about - being ready to serve more people with the same values we've always had.

If you've been on social media in Tennessee lately, you've probably heard about the stolen driveway. And if you're like most people, you're probably thinking there's no way that's real.

It's 7 AM on a Tuesday morning and I'm sitting in the school parking lot after dropping my son off for wrestling weigh-ins. It's still not completely light outside yet. He's got a match this afternoon at 4 PM that's 45 minutes away, and between now and then, I've got a full day of work to get done.

It's December in Chattanooga. Cold weather is here. And you know what that means - mice and rats are looking for somewhere warm to spend the winter. If you've had your crawl space encapsulated, you might think you're all set. Nice sealed space, moisture controlled, everything protected. But here's something most
